Judy Lynn Rutledge

Judy Lynn Rutledge, 62, of Louisville and previously of Owensboro, passed away on November 18, 2017 at her home under the care of Hospice. Judy was born in Owensboro on January 20, 1955 to Joseph and Mary Lou Riney Mudd. Judy was a teacher for the Owensboro Public School System and a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She was a beloved wife, mother and "Nana" and will be truly missed by all.

Judy was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Rutledge; father, Joseph Mudd; and brothers Pat and Jeff Mudd.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years; Robert Alan Rutledge; daughter, Meagan Corfman and her husband Ed of Louisville; son, Matthew Rutledge and his wife Kathy of Louisville; mother, Mary Lou Riney Mudd; 5 granddaughters, Madison and Audrey Rutledge, Lily, Olivia, and Caroline Corfman; sisters, Donna Cecil and Susan Mudd; and brothers, Greg and Phillip Mudd.

A funeral mass will be 12 pm Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Immaculate Catholic Church with Father Tony Jones officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday at the church, from 9 am until time of the mass at 12 pm.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the Salvation Army Angel Tree.
