Judy Carol Purcell

Judy Carol Purcell, 49, of Owensboro, died May 18, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. The Daviess County native was born February 3, 1957 to the late Samuel Lewis and Irene McCarthy Purcell. Judy was a member of Community Baptist Church and she enjoyed working puzzles, watching Wheel of Fortune, collecting dolls and stuffed animals and going to Church.

Preceding her in death besides her parents were her sister, Sylvia Purcell and her brother, Bobby Purcell.

Survivors include her mother, Martha Jane Purcell of Owensboro, her aunts, Bulah White of Caneyville, Lena Dalton of Owensboro, and Trula Ann Lindsey of Elizabethtown, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and her good friend, Robert.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Hunter officiating and Bro. Mark and Sister Darlene Toomey providing vocals. Burial will immediately follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 19, 2006 from 1:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 12:00 until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Baptist Church.
