Judith "Judy" Moss Mattingly, 58, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from injuries in an automobile accident. Born August 14, 1953 in Ravenna, Ohio, she was a bookkeeper and had attended Macedonia Baptist Church and Owensboro Christian Church. Judy enjoyed spending time with her children, family, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Samuel Moss; a brother, Michael Wayne Moss; and a sister, Brenda Sue Nixon.
Surviving are her children, Terri Denise Ray of Chicago and Stephen Mattingly, a student at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green; her mother, Edna Weems Moss of Birmingham, AL; sisters, Pat Porter (Mike) of Akron, IN and Terri Staten of Alpharetta, GA; and 27 nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011 in the chapel of Resurrection Cemetery with Brother Joe Thomas officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2011 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. There will be no visitation on Saturday.
