Judith Gayle Hester

Judith Gayle Hester, 54, of 1311 Bowie Trail, Owensboro, died Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born July 23, 1951, to Carl and Juanita Carter Anderson in Daviess County. She was a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God, a loving mother who adored her grandchildren and loved her church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Anderson in 1971 and her brother, Darrel Anderson in 1973.

Survivors include her daughters, Paula Renee Caldwell and her husband, Shannon of London, KY, Carla G. Dockery of Owensboro; her mother, Juanita Anderson Melton, Don Melton of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Jessica, Jacklyn and Kirsten; her brothers, David O. Anderson and his wife, Judy, Gary B. Anderson and a friend, Tammy, all of Owensboro; her sisters, Diana L. Stites and her husband, Larry, Sheila K. Sosh, all of Owensboro; a friend and caregiver, Loraine Claypool of Owensboro; several nieces and nephews; an ex-son-in-law, William V. Dockery of Owensboro.

Services will be 11:30 Saturday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Friday and after 9:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
