Judelle Cooke Peters

Judelle Cooke Peters, 89, of Owensboro, died there Tuesday, June 22, 2004. Born in Rochester in Butler County, Kentucky, Mrs. Peters graduated from Owensboro City Hospital in 1937 as a Registered Nurse, and was a member of First Baptist Church. Her husband, E. S. Peters, founder of Peters Construction, died in 1986.

Her son, Bruce Peters of Jacksonville, FL, four granddaughters, Kimberly Peters McClellan, Julie Peters Wells, Ashley Peters Payne and Courtney Peters, and five great-grandchildren, Blakeley McClellan and Whitney McClellan, Kaitlyn Wells, Parker Payne and Hillary Payne, all of Owensboro, survive her.

Services are at 10 a.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and after 8:30 Friday. Entombment will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
