Juanita Rice

Juanita ''Memaw'' Rice, 79, 418 Reid Rd., Owensboro, died Monday, December 9, 2002 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native was a homemaker and member of the Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James Tillman Hawkins in 1968; two sons, Maurice Hawkins and James Frederick Hawkins, and a daughter, Billie Jean Cauley.

She is survived by a daughter, Fay Rice of Owensboro; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2:30 P.M. Thursday, December 12, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Wednesday and after 10 A.M. on Thursday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Hospice Association.
