Juanita Joyce Leible

Juanita Joyce Leible, 68 , of Owensboro, died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. The Manila, Arkansas native was born to the late Joseph Albert and Dorothy (Hatcher) Donner. She was a teacher for the Owensboro Board of Education for 26 years, in headstart and kindergarten, and was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Janice D. Glover in 1985, and a brother, Don Donner on 2002.

Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Robert H. Leible, two daughters, Christy Blandford and husband Craig of Owensboro, and Ann Leible and partner Beth Sanftner of South St. Paul, MN., her granddaughters, Cassie, Camron, and Caitlyn Blandford, of Owensboro, and sisters, Betty Kennedy of Simi Valley, CA., and Darlene Yancy of Sikeston, MO.

Funeral services will be held, 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Immaculate Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Jones and Msgr. Bernard Powers, officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. with prayers at 7 p.m., and after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Lupus Foundation.
