Juanita Frances Jean Bivens, 80, of 7670 Highway 81, Moseleyville, died Sunday, January 30, 2005 at Hillcrest Nursing Home. The Daviess County native was born to the late Lloyd and Ola Kirk Farmer. She was a homemaker, a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church, and loved to work in her garden and cook. She was a member of the Moseleyville Fire Department Ladys Auxillary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd H. Bivens in 1997.

She is survived by her sons, Larry and Pam Bivens of Philpot, David and Theresa Bivens of Lewisport, daughters, Marsha Bivens of Leitchfield, Debbie and Gary Alvey of Calhoun, and Sherry and Steve Clouse of Panther, Brothers, Glenn Farmer of Henderson, Jimmy Farmer of Owensboro, Lowell Farmer of San Antonio, TX., and a sister, Mary Ann Frost of Caldwell, ID., grandchildren Chris and Sarah Bivens, and Crystal Bivens, Brandy Jones, Jason and Rhonda Alvey, and Aaron Alvey, Nicholas and Stacy Clouse, Amber, Robin and Summer Bivens, and five great grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held , 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Panther. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund.
