Juanita Anderson

Juanita Anderson of Owensboro, passed away November 16, 2016 at Hillcrest Nursing Home. She was born April 4, 1923 in West Liberty to the late Tony Sr. and Alma Carter. Juanita was of the Methodist faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed yard sales, going out to eat and was a generous person. Juanita loved her family and cherished her time spent at Christmas with them while everyone was gathered together. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Anderson; a son, Darrel Anderson; daughter, Judy Hester; a granddaughter, Jamie Sosh; and brothers, Paul, Tony and Lyle Carter.

Juanita is survived by her companion of 38 years, Don Melton; daughters, Diana (Larry) Stites, Sheila Sosh; sons, David (Maggie) Anderson, Gary Anderson and his companion, Tammy Goatee; daughter-in-law, Judy Ann Anderson; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Wanda Lowe of Tennessee; and her favorite furry four-legged friend, Chloe.

Services will be noon Saturday November 19, 2016 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
