J.T. Williams

J.T. Williams, 88, of Owensboro, passed away January 8, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born October 5, 1925 in Selma, AL to the late Thomas Martin and Mary Lewis Williams. Mr. Williams enjoyed fishing, gardening, working on cars, and spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends. J.T. was retired from Peabody coal where he was an operator.

Survivors include his loving wife Carlene Williams, stepson Jackie D. Mow Jr., step daughters; Jacqueline McKown and Francis Jones, step grandchildren; Gabrianna Jones, Carleigh Jones, Kaylenna McKown, Jaidyn McKown, Kami Basden, and Jonathan Basden, and sister Pearl Mae Chandler (Sidney),

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to The American Cancer Society

Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday January 14, 2014 in the chapel of Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
