Joyce T. Wells

Joyce T. Wells, 72, of Lee Manor Apartments, Owensboro, went to be with our Lord after a long illness on Tuesday, August 07, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born February 21, 1935 to Roy M. and Lucille Boone Trodglen in Daviess County. She was a member of Sts. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church, graduated from St. Francis Academy in 1953 and retired from Ponderosa restaurant. She was a very giving and loving person who was active in supporting her children in sports and fund raisers. She enjoyed family, reading and watching television.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy M. Trodglen and her husband, William W. Wells, Jr., who died March 8, 2005.

Survivors include her sons, William M. (Marty) Wells of Owensboro and William A. (Billy) Wells and his wife, Cindy of Philpot, a daughter, Regina L. (Gina) Wells of Oklahoma City, OK; her mother, Lucille B. Trodglen of Owensboro; a brother, Royce L. Trodglen of Louisville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:30 AM Thursday, at Glenn Funeral Home with visitation after 9:30 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
