Joyce Sharp Tichenor

Joyce Sharp Tichenor of Owensboro, passed away on September 15, 2014. She was born in Daviess Co. to the late Gus and Rosie Sharp. Joyce was a member of Walnut Memorial Baptist Church in Owensboro.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Martin C. Tichenor.

Survivors include her son, Martin C. Tichenor, Jr. (Debbie) of Hartford; sister, Edith Dimple King of Owensboro; sister in laws, Lana Tichenor Taylor of Orlando, Florida and Vergie Sharp of Owensboro; seven nieces; and seven nephews.

Service will be at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home in Hapeville, Georgia. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in College Park, Georgia. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory in Owensboro.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donation to the American Cancer Society.
