Joyce Myles Settle

Joyce Myles Settle, 81, passed away January 2, 2017 at home. Joyce was born January 28, 1935 to the late Herman and Clara Myles. She loved her family and enjoyed hobbies such as reading, watching UK basketball and spent a lot of time watching and feeding birds. Joyce was a great cook and was also a past member of the Eastern Stars.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Settle; grandson, Specialist Jason Settle and sister, Alyce Goetz.

Joyce is survived by her children, Rebecca Bean (Mike), Rhonda Mandrell, Barry Settle (Pam Warner), Michael Settle (Susan) grandchildren, David Kelly (Jenny), Matthew Kelly (Ashley), Aaron Settle, Marissa Barrett (Chris), Lauren Mandrell, Brandi Haynes (Scott), Logan Settle (Katie), Ben Settle (Ashley); 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Glover Myles (Phyllis); sister, Gayle Moser; aunt, Ruth Fort; sister-in-law, Dorothy Settle, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be Noon, Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
