Joyce Ann Sublett Howell

Joyce Ann Sublett Howell, 76, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on February 2, 1936 in Daviess Co. to the late James Lee and Bessie Iglehart Sublett. She was a graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School and enjoyed flower gardening, fishing, and arranging flowers. She was a past president of the Owensboro Jayceettes and past chairperson for the Mothers March of Dimes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Howell on April 19, 2007 and a son, Robert "Bobby" Howell on September 13, 2009.

Joyce is survived by two daughters, Lea Ann Collings and husband David of Sabina, OH and Melisa Kessinger of Owensboro, a son, Matthew Howell and wife Julie of Owensboro, a daughter-in-law, Jackie Pyland Howell of Owensboro; six grandchildren, Carlos Howell, Benjamin Collings, Nathan Collings, Laney Howell, Jacob Howell, and Zachary Howell, and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 12 Noon Monday, February 27 at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in Owensboro.

Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
