Joyce Faye Fuqua

Joyce Faye Fuqua, 65, of 530 Yale Place, Owensboro, KY, died Saturday, July 22, 2006 at her residence. She was born February 28, 1941 to the late Roy and Beulah Rainwater Plummer in Muhlenberg County. She was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church where she enjoyed her friends and serving in her church. She loved being around her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Harold Fuqua on August 9, 1994.

Survivors include her daughter, Denise Michele Phipps of Grain Valley, MO; her sons, Daniel Joseph Fuqua of Owensboro, David Wayne Fuqua of Grain Valley, MO, and Todd Eric Fuqua of Cincinnati, OH; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Crump of Owensboro, Loretta Baugh of Central City and Sharon Plummer of Louisville, KY; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, at Immaculate Catholic Church with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komer Breast Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 97100, Dallas, TX, 75397.
