Joyce Boling

Joyce Boling, 90, of Beaver Dam, formerly of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born May 23, 1935 in Ohio County to the late Irving and Ethlyn Muffett. Joyce was a homemaker, was a member of the former Utica United Methodist Church, but had been attending Owensboro Church of Christ. She enjoyed keeping her home neat and clean, playing rook, and spending time with her family and friends. Joyce was raised by her aunt and uncle, Edgar and Virginia Muffett.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Curtis Boling in 2011, a great granddaughter, Olivia Wimp in 2008, and her two brothers, Wesley and Bill Muffett.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Wimp and husband Bill of Owensboro; a grandson, Curt Wimp and wife Megan of Owensboro; a great granddaughter, Kaylee Wimp; and a half-brother, Randall Muffett and wife Nancy of Hawesville.

Funeral services will be Noon Friday, December 19 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Fordsville Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 AM until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
