Joy Dean Reisz, 53, of Owensboro, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born April 15, 1951 in Daviess County, she owned and operated the River City Tax and Tanning for 7 years and was a member of the Lifeline revival Center. Her life was devoted to her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, R.T. Vincent, mother-in-law, Jean Reisz, husband, Raymond Boling, and step-granddaughter, Dana Waltrip.
She is survived by her husband and best friend of 10 years, Ottie Reisz; her mother, Dorothy Vincent; father-in-law, Otto Reisz; a son, Edward Orr; a daughter, Angela Patterson; step-son, Billy Boling; two sisters and their husbands, Dorothy and Homer Harper and Kathy and Mike Christian; a brother, Roger D. Vincent; five grandchildren, Zachary Allen, Kayla Patterson, Christian Box, Joshua and Alex Orr; five step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services are 1 P.M. Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Friday and after 9 A.M. on Saturday.
