Jospeh Lorenzia Fulkerson

Joseph Lorenzia Fulkerson, 88, of 5165 Todd Bridge, Owensboro, died Thursday, March 28, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System.

The Daviess County native was a farmer, a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, the churchs Leisure Club and Ministers of Praise, was a member of Farm Bureau, a Kentucky Colonel, and enjoyed gardening and raising giant pumpkins. His wife, Elizabeth Payne Fulkerson, died in 1981.

Survivors include two sons, Patrick Fulkerson and Charles Fulkerson, both of Owensboro, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Visitation is from 2 p.m.until 8 p.m. Sunday and after 8:30 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 6 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
