Joshua Lee Rose

Joshua Lee Rose, 29, of Owensboro died Sunday, March 13, 2016. Josh was born October 15, 1986 in South Africa to Michael and Laura Fabian Rose. Josh was first and foremost a wonderful father with a big heart and a big smile. He was known to give generously to others in need and provide a place for the less fortunate to stay. Josh was a great football player and a hard worker who loved anything outdoors whether hunting or fishing or taking his daughter to the park frequently. He knew how to ask the same question in ten different ways until he got an answer and if you could drive it or ride it, Josh did.

Josh was preceded in death by his grandpas, Wayne Rose and John Fabian; his great grandma, Cora Bryson and many other Bryson and Rose family members.

Survivors include his parents, Mike and Laura Rose; his brother, Matt Rose; daughter, Skylar Rose and her mother, Jillian Howard all of Owensboro; grandmas, Maxine Rose of Richmond, KY and Shirley Fabian of Omaha, NE; many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 17 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial is tentatively scheduled for Saturday in Murphy, North Carolina.
