Joshua Dewayne Manes

Joshua Dewayne Manes, 7 months, of Owensboro, died Friday, May 30, 2008 at his home. Joshie was born on October 2, 2007, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He always smiled at everyone he saw and knew. He was talking and had started to take a few steps. Joshie was loved by everyone.

Surviving are his parents; Jessica Douglas and Randy Manes, Grandparents; Tina Douglas, Glen and Pam Douglas all of Owensboro, Joe Manes and Donna Shirley of Arkansas, great grandparents; Patricia Maugherman of Owensboro, Dewayne and Eva Maugherman of Indiana, Shirl Douglas, Roy and Pat Douglas, all of Owensboro, and Ester Manes of Arkansas, uncles; John (Mandy) Bullington and Matt Douglas of Owensboro, Jerry Michael Young and Ben Manes of Arkansas, aunts; Chrissy Douglas, Alisabeth "Wissa" Douglas, Samantha Douglas, Misty Douglas and Katie "Poo" Ramsey of Owensboro, and cousins; Trevor and Justin Bullington of Owensboro and Bubba and Jessie Manes of Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by a great-grandfather; Jessie Manes, and his aunt Stephanie.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Monday
