Josephine Rowan

Josephine Rowan, 79, of 1320 Wayside Drive West, Owensboro, died Sunday, February 19, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born to the late Virgil and Lillian Benson Davidson in Butler County. She was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church, retired from General Electric and enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles and spending time reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Rowan in July 18, 2000.

Survivors include her daughters, Candie Wahl and Gayle Fuqua, both of Owensboro, and DeLois Beavin of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, LaTina McIntosh, Jimmy Decker and Shelley Decker and Julie Stemple; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Avanell Shoulders of Russellville, Elizabeth McCoy of Auburn and Betty Griggs of Bedford, IN.

Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday and after 10:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
