Josephine Jo Cowgell, 89, of Owensboro, died Sunday, June 8, 2003 at the Leisure Years Nursing Home. The Floyd County native was a homemaker and member of the Walnut Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morton Reid Cowgell and her daughter, Kay McLimore.
She is survived by a granddaughter, April White of Owensboro and a son-in-law, Donald McLimore of Owensboro.
Funeral services are 11 A.M. Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Kay McLimore Memorial Youth Fund at Walnut Memorial Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
