Joseph Ellis Ware

Joseph Ellis Ware, 70, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the Professional Care Nursing Home in Hartford. Born in Owensboro on January 17, 1940, he was the son of the late Onis and Julia May Ridgway Ware; was a member of Third Baptist Church; and had worked as a tool dresser in the oil fields.
Mr. Ware was a member of the Pairs and Spares Sunday School class at Third Baptist and had also served as an usher and worked in the kitchen. He was an avid UK sports fan.

Surviving are several cousins and friends at Professional Care in Hartford and at Third Baptist Church.

Services are 2 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2010 in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. James K. Byrd officiating followed by burial in Greenbrier Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12 until service time on Monday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Third Baptist Church.
