Joseph Dean Vollman

Joseph Dean Vollman, 25, of Owensboro, died December 11, 2008 at home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alisa Vollman, in 2005, his grandfather, F.G. Vollman, and his uncle, David Frasure. Survivors include his father, Barry D. Vollman of Owensboro, a sister, Carrie R. Hurlburt, of Pleasant Ridge, grandparents: Jim and Louise Stringer and T.R. and Venetta Hicks, of Owensboro, aunts, Kim (Ronnie) Payne, of Philpot, Karen (George) Schauman of Evansville, IN., and an uncle, John Frasure, of Owensboro, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial services will be held for family and friends, Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at 10:00 a.m., at Immaculate Catholic Church with Father Tony Jones officiating. Glenn Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family has requested expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society in memory of his mother, Alisa Vollman.
