Joseph Tin

Joseph Tin, 43, of Owensboro passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. The Burmese native was born May 10, 1982, as one of eight children to the late Saw Sai Tin and Naw Ku Taw Paw. Joseph moved to Owensboro in 2015 and was employed at Specialty Food Group. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar as well as soccer, volleyball and fishing. Joseph was mechanically inclined and talented at fixing cars. He was a loving and caring husband, father, and friend. As a faithful and devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Joseph attended Bellevue Baptist Church and the Owensboro Karen Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, Joseph also was preceded in death by his sister.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 13 years, Mo Say Nay Paw; three children, Lydia, Moseph, and Noah; six siblings; nieces, Eimuay and Paw Paw; nephews, Matthew, Hen Mo Thaw, Has Htoo, Kohsoe, and Tee Wah; several great nieces and great nephews.

The funeral service for Joseph Tin will be noon Thursday, April 23 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with same day visitation from 11:00 until the time of the service. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
