Joseph William Sparks

Joseph W. Sparks, 74, of 1231 Rosehill Drive, Owensboro, died Sunday, September 28, 2003, at Wellington Parc of Owensboro. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. and was a retired electrician with the United Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mariam Sparks, 3 Sons, Michael Sparks of Florence, Ky. John Sparks of Cincinnati, Oh., and Richard Sparks of Owensboro, 2 Daughters, Donna Payne of Garner, N. C., and Linda Harl of Owensboro, a sister, Jackie Bennett of Owensboro, and a half sister, Carrie Grant of Owensboro.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 30, 2003, at Rosehill Cemetery with burial following. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, at Glenn Funeral Home.
