Joseph W. Painter, 56, of Owensboro, formerly of Chicago, died December 2, 2005 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Dorothy, West Virginia on September 7, 1949.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Brenda Campbell Painter of Owensboro, his son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Jr. and Tonya Painter, his grandson, Logan Joseph Painter all of Palatine, IL, and his sister, Lucy Warren of Athens, AL.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Chapel with Rev. William Roberts officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Rosehill Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation is on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at Glenn Funeral Home.
