Joseph D. Noble

Joseph D. Noble, 72, of 546 Garren Avenue, Norfolk, VA, formerly of Lewisport, died Sunday April 6, 2008 at his home surrounded by family and his cherished pet Kasey. Born July 19, 1935 to the late Lawerance and Maggie Noble, he served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was retired from Civil Service Social Security Administration where he served as a district manager for Daviess County and surrounding areas.

He was preceded in death by his seven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his cherished wife, Donna Merimee Noble; his sons, David and Tim; his daughter, Debney; his mother-in-law, Pat Riney; his step-sons and their wives, Todd and Tracy and Neil and Staccie; his step-daughter, Tammy; twelve grandchildren and one step-grandchild.

Cremation services were held in Virginia Beach, VA. Altmeyer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Ennichement will be private at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
