Joseph Cecelia Muller

Sr. Joseph Cecelia Muller, 80, an Ursuline Sister of Mount Saint Joseph, died Monday, March 17, 2003 at Mount Saint Joseph in her 58th year of religious life.

She taught at St. Mary Magdalene, Sorgho from 1950-51, in other Kentucky schools, and in New Mexico. A registered Nurse, she served as infirmarian at Mount Saint Joseph from 1956-1979 and as infirmary consultant from 1979 to 1999. She enjoyed gardening and created beautiful quilts.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Services are 10:30 A.M. Thursday, March 20, at Mount Saint Joseph Chapel, Maple Mount, KY with burial in the Convent Cemetery at Maple Mount. A wake service will be held at 6:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 19, 2003 in the chapel where visitation will begin at 4 P.M. Glenn Funeral Home , Owensboro, is in charge of arrangements.
