Joseph "Tony" Anthony Molnar, 48, of Owensboro, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2014. He was born in Owensboro on August 27, 1966 to Frank Molnar Sr. and Rebecca Collins Molnar. He worked at TJ Maxx and then as a manager at IGA for many years. Tony was a fun guy to be around and loved to talk. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and firing up the grill whenever he could. Tony really liked to watch TV, he watched his favorite NFL team the Minnisota Vikings play, his favorite NASCAR driver Mark Martin race, and if those were not on he loved to watch real life crime dramas. If he wasn't watching the game he could often be found playing poker and drinking a Mountain Dew.
He is preceded in death by his father Frank Molnar Sr.
Survivors include his daughter, Rachael (Tony) Arce; grandson Santiago Arce; mother, Rebecca Collins (Harold) Birdsley; siblings, Fran (Gale) Rickard, Kay (Marvin) Hayden, Frank Molnar Jr, Tim (Bridgette) Molnar, and Victoria "Tori" (Tommy) Duff, many loving nieces and nephews, and canine companion Bear Bear.
A funeral mass will be at 10 am Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Precious Blood Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 2 until 8 pm Monday and after 8:30 am Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Prayers will be said at 6pm Monday at the funeral home.
