Joseph W. Kimbley
May 12, 1922 — December 3, 2002
Joseph W. Kimbley, 80, of 630 Fargo St., Owenbsoro, died Tuesday, December 3, 2002 at the Bon Harbor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The West Louisville native was retired from Green River Steel and was a member of Good Shepherd Church. He enjoyed fishing, horse racing, UK basketball and playing the guitar. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Margaret Gatton Kimbley in 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Carl Kimbley of Owensboro and Michael Kimbley of Lake Malone; two daughters, Susie Stewart and Angela Inklebarger both of Owensboro; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jim Kimbley of Owensboro.
Funeral services are 2:30 P.M. Thursday, December 5, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery in Brown's Valley. Friends may call at the funeral home from Noon to 2:30 P.M. on Thursday.
