Joseph Dennis Jones

Joseph Dennis Jones, 66, of 16151 Highway 69 North, Fordsville, Ky. passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2006 at his home. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Bernard Cecil & Edith Millay Jones. He was retired from Century Aluminum Co. as an electrician. He was a charter member of Local #9423 United Steel Workers. He was an avid hunter, and loved fishing, traveling, and the outdoors. He was a co-founder and member of C. J.s Sportsmans Club for 15 years. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Lee Brown.

Surviving is his wife of 45 years, Jean Jones, two sons, Joseph M. Jones and his wife April of Fordsville and Christen D. Jones and his wife Suzette of Owensboro, two daughters, Rita Faye Crump and companion Jason Roberts and Denise Marie Keller and her husband Kenny, all of Owensboro, 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren, three sisters, Helen Maxine Fleischmann of Owensboro, Brenda Rose Willard of Bonne Terre, Missouri, and Linda Ann Ebelhar of Sorgho, and two brothers, James Donald Jones of Knottsville, and David Anthony Jones of Whitesville.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 4, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home..
