Joseph Louis Eames

Joseph Louis Eames, age 60, of Owensboro KY, passed away unexpectedly on March 20th. He was born on August 8th, 1965, in Elmira, NY to Louis and Carol Eames.

Joe was known for his love of family and friends and always made those around him feel special. He touched many lives through his guidance in Boy Scouts, his career with Assured Partners as Vice President of Sales – Employee Benefits, and his passion for his hobbies: competitive shooting, fishing, hunting, golf, and motorcycles.

He is survived by his loving wife Jennifer (Bowen) Eames; his sons and grandchildren: Jacob Eames, Patrick (Brooke) Eames (August, London, and Jonathan), his daughter and grandchildren: Amy (Eames) Tillinghast (Jaycie, Cove, Riley, Abigail, and Franki); his parents Louis and Carol Eames; and his sisters, niece and nephews: Stacey (Craig) Cunningham (Brianna and Nicholas), Corrinna Eames (Brandon, and TJ who preceded him in death); and his in-laws: Linwood and Diana Bowen, and Jeremy Bowen.

A celebration of life will be held at Reid’s Orchard on April 25th from 3-6pm. Care by Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joe’s name to the Aflac Children’s Cancer Center of Atlanta.
