Joseph Dominy, 21, of 2406 South Cherokee Drive, Owensboro, died Tuesday, August 08, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Joseph was a graduate of Owensboro High School, and completed Owensboro Community College, and was in his second year at Brescia University. He was a former Goodwill Ambassator of the Muscular Dystrophy Association in 1989, and 1990. He was an avid sports fan, attending games at OHS and Brescia, and was a huge U.K. fan.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John McLean in 2002.
Surviving are his parents, Rick and Polly Dominy of Owensboro, maternal grandmother Katie McLean of Gastonia, N.C., paternal grandmother, Merle Dominy of Lenoir, N.C.,his aunts and uncles, Connie and Ray Kale of Gastonia, N.C., Kathy and Buddy Kelly of Gaffney, S.C., David and Pam McLean of Gastonia, N.C., Johnny McLean of Columbia, S.C., Sherry Simmons and Dale Dominy of Lenoir, N.C. and multiple cousins.

Visitation will be from 2PM to 8PM Thursday and from 10AM till 11.30 Friday at Glenn Funeral Home with the services at 11:30 AM , Friday at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Jimmy Bunch and Dan Wade officiating.
Entombment will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens following the service. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, or to the Spencer County Church of Christ, Building Fund.
