Joseph “Joe” C. Moseley, 79, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. The Daviess County native was born April 22, 1946, to the late William “Bill” Moseley and Cornelius Boehm Moseley. Joe graduated from Owensboro High School with the class of 1964 and was in ROTC. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy on a supply ship during the Vietnam War. Joe loved motorcycles and enjoyed working on them too. He and his wife, Terry, would take their annual road trip to Florida to “Thunder Beach. They also looked forward to their “second home” in the Smokey Mountains in October and November as they traveled to Gatlinburg and stayed in the same condo each year. Joe was employed as a machinist at Alcoa and retired from there in 2007.
In addition to his parents, Joe was also preceded in death by his daughter, Farrah Loyd in 2020 and two sons, Billy Moseley in 2021 and Jeremy Bunker in 2017; his sister, Debbie Moseley.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 29 years, Terry Goff Moseley; daughter, Vanessa Bunker of Evansville; son, Michael Moseley and wife Candy of N. Carolina; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Arnold and Becky Phillips; his French bulldog, Bambina; several nieces and nephews.
