Joseph Bernard Clark, 84, of Owensboro, passed away peacefully, February 20, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born May 23, 1928 in Daviess County to the late Robert Leo and Theresa (Bumm) Clark. He was a retired tile setter and a member of St. Stephen Cathedral. Mr. Clark loved his family above all else. He had a wonderful sense of humor that left everyone with a smile.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Bernadette, six brothers, Martin, Louis Theodore, Sylvester, Aloysius, Robert Leo Jr., and Joseph Anthony Clark, four sisters, Bernadette Paulin, Patronella Clark, Magdalene Morris and
Mary Rose Hayden.
Surviving is his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Juanita(Moore) Clark, four sons, Larry (Isabel) Clark of Newburgh, IN, Danny (Cindy Jo) Clark of Owensboro, Don (Linda) Clark of Evansville, IN, Carl (Missy) Clark of Carrollton, KY, three daughters, Elaine (Dickie) Drury of Houston, TX, Linda (Dennis) Fentress of Owensboro, and Lisa (Tim) Johnson of Utica, fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and a sister, Ann Theresa Hardesty.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 at St. Stephen Cathedral with Rev. John Vaughan and Rev. Mike Clark officiating with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
