Joseph Lee Campbell

Joseph Lee Campbell, Sr., 63, of Owensboro, died Saturday, May 21, 2016, at his residence. He was born in Owensboro to the late Benjamin F. Campbell, Sr. and Ida Bohler Campbell. Joseph loved to fish, and enjoyed NASCAR and UK Basketball. He was a construction worker and was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends or family members.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Benjamin, Jr., Charlie and Donald Campbell; sisters, Betty Wilkerson, Mary Bratcher, and Shirley Campbell; and two grandbabies.
Survivors include his son, Joseph Campbell, Jr. and his wife Jeanette of Owensboro; granddaughter, Destini Campbell; brothers, David Campbell and Michael Campbell; sisters, Rebecca Baughn, Martha Hardesty, Joyce Bratcher, Stella Hayes, Kay Lee, and Bertha Fulkerson; and a several nieces and nephews.
Services were private.
