Joseph "Jo-Jo" Bickett

Joseph "Jo-Jo" Bickett, 28, of Owensboro, KY passed away Tuesday, September 26th at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Jo-Jo was born January 7, 1989 to Anita and Samuel Bickett. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and gardening. Jo-Jo especially loved to grill out with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mary Eva and Gus Bickett; maternal grandfather, David Givens; maternal great-grandmother, Inez Cook; aunt, Cathy Bickett; uncle, Jerry B. Simpson, Jr.; and niece, Mary Eva Custer.
Survivors include his mother, Anita Bickett of Evansville, IN; father, Samuel Bickett of Owensboro; daughter, Mary Eva Lynn Bickett; 2 sisters, Eva Bickett Hocker of Owensboro and Katrina Mitchell of Arkansas; 1 brother, Bo Bickett (Crystal) of Owensboro; maternal grandmother, Sharon Givens of Owensboro; special aunts, Eva Daughtery (David) and Janice Torres of Owensboro; uncles, Jeff Simpson (Shannon), Larry Bickett and William Bickett; 5 nieces, Kenara, Khyren, Savannah, Katelynn, and Jasmine; his best friends, Marcus Olive, Paul Olive, Aaron Cates, Terrance Cates, Matt Montgomery and Joseph Hocker.
The service will be 12 Noon, Tuesday, October 3 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Monday from 4 until 8 PM. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery.
