Jordan "Andy" Evans

Jordan Andrew “Andy” Evans, 48, born on July 17, 1976, and passed away on May 27, 2025. Mostly known as Andy but also went by a host of nicknames. Namely Fern Andy-o, Norm, and later Pop-Pop as he was known by his grandkids and niece. Pop-Pop lived a wonderful life with love being the first and last thing he did each day, telling his wife Tami, he loved her each evening while letting God know that Andy loved Him for each and every day above dirt, yet having faith of a better day when he went to his heavenly resting place.

Andy worked for the local Budweiser distributor for twenty years before he was deemed disabled at the age of 42.

Andy had a hereditary disease and became dependent upon a scooter chair at that time. Andy would like to thank all of the wonderful people who helped him in any way shape or form, as he relied heavily upon others in his later years. Thank each of you from the bottom of his own heart as you already know who you are. God has been so good to Andy with his friends and family. If you were his friend, you were his family.

He is survived by the love of his life, Tami Coultas Evans, whom he called affectionately Baby Girl; his two sons and their wives, Pete and Maria Evans and Nicholas Paul and Brittany Evans; his mother, Margaret Evans; brothers, Vic Evans and his wife Dawn and Nick Evans and his wife Philina; father and mother-in-law, Vic and Paula Coultas; his brothers and sisters in marriage Jimmy and Traci Copeland, Danny and Dana Coultas, and Robert and Tonya Montgomery; and his sister Sarah Evans. His nieces and nephews, Seth Evans and wife Bethany, Logan Coultas, Parker Coultas, Cooper Coultas, Drake Copeland and his wife Jaylynn, and Reese Copeland; nieces, Madison Brasher-Evans, Abigail Evans, Jordyn Evans, Chloe Copeland, and Sadie Anderson; a host of cousins which he tried to always keep in contact with, and all his aunts and uncles were always special to him. A few have gone before him, along with his father Vic Evans. Thank each of you for your love and support.

His best days were spent with his grandkids. They are Kenzleigh Evans (Kenza girl) Raelynn Evans (Rae da Bears), Neriah Farris (Neriah da Fae), Mason Evans (Mason BOY) and Lilly Evans (Baby Nana). ‘We did good Nana’, was his favorite line to his say to his bride, Tami.

He also had a host of friends he met all through his life. You have always been family to me, Barry and Diane, Josh and Kelli, Buddy and Heather, Vern and Jenni, Brent and Elizabeth, Michael and Kelli, and those others around him, he loves you all. Thank you each for the memories, the Derby Day parties, the poker gatherings, the family reunions, the fish fries, and of course the baby back barbecues!

May God bless the Cowboys, Cubs and the University of Kentucky and give them the best players and coaches always. Haha

May God bless the world and hopefully it is a better world for having me in it. Tight lines, and hit ‘em far and straight, I hope to be fishing and golfing again in the other side of the rainbows!
