Johnny L. Capps

Johnny L. Capps, Jr., 49, of 516 Foust Ave., Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born on August 8, 1960 in Daviess County, Ky. He was a member of Parrish Avenue Baptist Church and had attended the University of Kentucky studying business administration. He enjoyed listening to music especially classic rock and going to concerts. He also enjoyed fishing, U. K. Basketball, and Chicago Bears Football. Johnny had a great sense of humor with a quick wit. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joann Capps on March 6, 2009.

He is survived by his father, Johnny L. Capps, Sr. of Owensboro, a sister, Crystal West and husband Ed of Semiway, Ky., a niece, Eden West of Semiway, an aunt, Catherine Morris of Owensboro, an uncle, William O. Capps of Owensboro, and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Monday, October 12, in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
