Johnnie Elizabeth Reel, 93, of 2204 Middleground Dr. N., Owensboro, died Thursday, March 14, 2002 at the Riverside Manor Nursing Home in Calhoun. The Ohio County native was a retired Sales Clerk and a member of the Owensboro Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, sewing and gardening.
Mrs. Reel was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Reel in 1972.
She is survived by a sister, Vena Stuart of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 1 P.M., Saturday, March 16, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Saturday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Owensboro Christian Church Building Fund, 2818 New Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42301.
