Johnnie E. Fifield
March 19, 1919 — February 21, 2004
Mr. Johnnie E. Fifield, 84, of 2528 Needles Court, Owensboro, died Saturday, February 21, 2004 at his residence. He owned and operated Johnnies Place, was a marine and army veteran of WW II, a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the American Legion.
His first wife, Martha Fifield, preceded him in death on May 1, 1994.
Survivors include his wife of nine years, Lorene Fifield; three sons, Mike, Ronald, and Richard Fifield; four step-daughters, Barbara Plemens of Ohio County, Sandy Carter , Billie Carrico and Phyllis Hardy all of Owensboro; several grandchildren; one sister, Thelma Elkins of Springfield, MO.
Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, February 23, 2004, at Glenn Funeral Home, with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 until 6:00 PM Sunday, and after 9:00 AM Monday, at the funeral home. Military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by VFW Post 696.
