John "Podjo" Aull

John "Podjo" Aull, Jr., 80, of Owensboro passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at his home Tuesday, July 19, 2016. He was born in Daviess County to the late John I. (Sr.) and Lula Mae McBride Aull. After 32 years he retired from Gabe's Restaurant where he served as a chef. Podjo was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church who enjoyed manicuring his lawn and cooking for family get-togethers.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Wanda Aull; daughter, Glenda McBride and husband Joseph; sons, Mike Aull and wife Angie and Nick Aull and wife Sue, all of Owensboro; sister, Mary Jane Whitaker and husband Jerry, of Philpot; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a niece.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23rd at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
