John Michael Peak

John Michael Peak, 20, of Owensboro passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born October 5, 1997 in Daviess County to Ricky Peak and Samantha Brackett Peak. John Michael graduated from Heritage Park High School but played football and wrestled for Daviess County High School. He also enjoyed watching WWE wrestling on TV. John was quiet and laid back in many ways but loved wrestling and "fighting" with his nephews. He loved to travel anywhere and enjoyed attending sporting events wherever he went.

John Michael was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Milton "Papaw" Scott.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Samantha Peak; his father, Ricky Peak both of Owensboro; sister, Dana Payne and husband Brandon; brother, Tommy Peak; grandparents, Linda Scott and Ray and Barbara "Nanny" Hodskins; great grandmother, Margaret "Great Nanny" O'Bryan-Mills; nephews, Lucas Bowlds and Brody Payne; several aunts and uncles.

Services will be 3:00 pm Friday, September 14 at Crosspointe Baptist Church, 550 Worthington Road. Visitation will also be Friday from 1:00 pm till time of service at the church.
