John William Hendricks

John W. Hendricks of Owensboro passed away Wednesday, August 4 after a lengthy
illness. John was born February 5, 1951 in Owensboro the son of Fred Hendricks
and Mary Ruth Hendricks. He worked many years in Owensboro as a Boilermaker,
worked in the construction business in Owensboro as well as Florida and was a
certified Locksmith. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. John
was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Hendricks Jr., a sister Freda
Hendricks, mother Mary Ruth Hendricks and father Fred Hendricks.


Survivors include daughter, Judy Ann Frames, 3 grandchildren, Brittany Beard,
Harley Frames and Wyatt Bratcher; four sisters, Charlotte R. Dukes (Keith) and
Barbara Madewell both of Greenville, Ky; Marie Hendricks of Owensboro and
Pauline Allmon (Raymond) of Herndon, Ky; two brothers, Mark Hendricks and Timmy
Hendricks (Diane) both of Owensboro; many nieces and nephews and Kathy
Phillips his loving companion and her 4 children and 14 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, and Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. A
private family service is planned.
