John Robert Hart

March 18, 1919 — April 15, 2004

Mr. John Robert Hart, 85, of Owensboro, died Thursday, April 15, 2004. He was born March 18, 1919, to the late Louis and Willo Purdue Hart, in Canton, Ohio. He worked at Rotary Electric in Detroit,MI, for 18 years, then retired from Green River Steel after 28 years of service. He was a member of Jehovahs Witnesses, he loved carpentery, boating, and witnessing to others. He was baptized in 1963, and served as a ministerial servant.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Hart;step-father, Bill Watson; brother, Tom Hart; sister, Jerri Aurand; and step-grandson, Perry David Graves.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Marjorie Graham Hart of Owensboro; two sons and their wives, Gary (Pinki) Hart and John Rodney (Alice Ann) Hart, both of Owensboro; one daughter and her husband Tammy (Frankie) Froehlich of Lewisport; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren; one brother and his wife, Garth (Beverly) Hart of Bakersville, CA; one step-son, Marvin Perry, III; three step-daughters, Marcie Graves of Georgetown, TX, Marie Jernigan of Drakesboro, Marleta Hancock of Laurel, MS; his mother-in-law, Anna Mable Graham of Beaver Dam; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 5:00 PM Saturday, April 17, 2004 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 2208 Tamarack Road, Owensboro. Visitation will be 3:00 until 5:00 PM Saturday at Kingdom Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 2208 Tamarack Road, Owensboro, KY, 42301.
