John Mathew Fisher

John Mathew Fisher, 55, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2009 at his home. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. on July 14, 1954. He was employed as a Lab technician with Big Rivers Electric for 30 years and was a member of First Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching U. K. Basketball and football, playing cards, and was a supporter of the Goodfellows Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. "Jack" and Joan Clements Fisher.

Surviving are two sons, Mathew F. Fisher and John Casey Fisher, both of Owensboro, and two sisters, Amy Fisher of Owensboro and Robin A. Fisher of Lexington.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 31, in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Daviess Co. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 8:30 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
