John Ezell

John Thomas Ezell II (J.T.), age 88, of Owensboro KY passed away Monday June 22, 2015 while in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky, surrounded by his family.

He was born January 25, 1927 to the late Harriet Fraim Ezell and John T. Ezell and was was one of 14 children.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II and a member of Christ Community Church, also was an Kentucky Colonel. He retired from Millwright Local 1080, he loved golf and fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Jean (Carroll) Ezell, and two children: John Thomas Ezell III, and Susan Carroll (Dr. Mark) Newman, grandchildren: Jennifer Ezell Jimenez, Sarah Catherine Newman, John Franklin Newman, Catherine Elizabeth Newman, Michaela Leona Ezell, and two great-grandchildren: Molly Grace Jimenez and Lucy Elizabeth Jimenez.

Funeral services will be Monday June 29, 2015 at 10:00am at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Myke Templeton and Pastor Tim Hall officiating, visitation will be Sunday June 28, 2015 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm at the funeral home.
