John William Beck

John William Beck, Jr. 52 of 916 Maple St., Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Vanderburgh Co., In. to the late John William & Helen Bartlett Beck. He was the owner of Becks Aluminum, was an honorary member of the Owensboro Fire Dept., and considered all of the firefighters as his family. He loved children, fishing, hunting, baseball, and Nascar.

Surviving is two brothers, Randy Beck and his wife Carie of Owensboro, and Bobby Beck of Evansville, In., a half-brother, Lanny Riley of Hardinsburg, Ky., a niece & nephew, Patience & Bronson Beck, and all his firefighter family and many friends.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, Dec. 9, at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. Friday until time of the service at the funeral home.
