John Allison Alexander

July 26, 1914 — August 12, 2005

John Allison Alexander, Jr., 91, of Owensboro, died Friday, August 12, 2005 at the Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree. Born July 26, 1914, Mr. Alexander was a retired truck driver and had a private pilots license. He was an Army World War II.

He is survived by three sons; Ron Alexander of Henderson, Lyndon Alexander of Charlestown, IN, and George Alexander of Hendersonville, TN; three daughters, Carrie Harrell of Clarmont, FL, Belinda Mann of Warren, IN, and Lisa Perkins of Indianapolis, IN; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation or services. Glenn Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Colonial Terrace Nursing Home.
